Hypnosis has been found effective for a wide variety of purposes from medical, psychological, vocational and avocational. Because it is hard to believe that someone can go into a state of relaxation and be encouraged to change through language, scientists have studied hypnosis in depth. While you will find a few negative articles by scientists that state their opinion of hypnosis, they don’t use any facts to corroborate their claims. The reason for this is, all of the scientific research done on hypnosis shows that it is more effective than the alternatives and people actually make the changes in their lives they want in a very short time.
What does the scientific research show?
Universities such as Harvard, Ohio State, The University of Iowa, The University of Washington School of Medicine, and the University of Connecticut have all researched the effectiveness of hypnosis for smoking cessation and weight loss, among others, and found it extremely effective.
